Depreciated currencies are being re-appreciated, the notes are given

a new value by repainting them. In this creative transformative process,

new stocks are being created.

This is a project dealing with the financial crisis, fears, illusions and

banknotes, and the art market, appraising, depreciating and appreciating

them in a creative, humorous context.

What is still of value these days? Stock-Art is a series showing

25 repainted banknotes from all over the world. Exhibits include

obsolete notes, such as from inflationary times in Brazil, depreciated currencies from before the introduction of the euro, funny money,

as well as a 10,000 dollar note.
