The series "À la carte" is a project in progress. It is currently consisting
of 40 overpainted postcards from France in 1914-1918.
The French texts written on those postcards write about love, compassion
and everyday occurrences, and they are painted in a meticulous, delicate handwriting, reminiscent of calligraphies, almost artworks.
The pictures show French villages and towns, landscapes, cities, cathedrals,
and soldiers. These contrasts and witnesses of the period of time inspired
me to transform them artistically and to bring them back into question.
